Edward Joseph Bybee passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 16, 2022, in Keizer, OR at the age of 77. He was born on September 27, 1944, in Amboy, IL. Ed did his undergraduate studies at Benedictine College in Kansas before getting his law degree at the University of Kansas. An attorney in Honolulu and Kailua, HI for many years, Ed retired as a partner in the law firm of Bybee, Chang and Rulon. While he was not a native of Hawaii, it was his beloved home where he raised his family. Ed embodied the Aloha spirit, loved the people of Hawaii and was very active in the community. Ed is survived by his wife Trish; three children: Michael (Tesa), Sean (Kourtney) and Suzanne and five grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will take place Sunday, September 18, 2022, from Noon – 3:00 p.m. at Kalama Beach Club in Kailua.
