Born the 3rd of 4 children in Aliquippa, PA, she is survived by her husband Rick, parents Jake and Audrey, siblings Anna, Donald, and Ken, 4 stepchildren, and 7 grandchildren.
After retiring from the USAF as a MSgt, she put her Chaminade degree in English Literature and Early Education to work by becoming a paraprofessional for special needs children, she loved that part of her life.
Rhonda also loved to travel, visiting numerous countries, the neighbor islands, and driving all over the mainland. She paddled for Hui Pakolea, drove her classic car on cruise nights and numerous times in the annual Dec. 7th parade in Waikiki. She hiked, ran half marathons, was a scuba diver, never stopped learning, made quilts, loved calligraphy, and was an active member of Hui Malama O Ola, the local ovarian cancer support group.
Rhonda's public celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Hawaiian Memorial Park in Kaneohe, visitation begins at 9:30 am, service at 11:00. PLEASE, NO FLOWERS.
As was her wish, ashes will be scattered privately in Kaneohe Bay.
