John B. Kahoonei 60, Beloved Son, Brother, Husband, Father, and Papa, unexpectedly passed away July 27, 2022, at his home. John was born in Honolulu, lived in Waimanalo all his life and graduated from Kailua High School. John was very talented, a jack of all trades. He liked working with his hands, fixing, tinkering and constructing. Great at macgyvering. He loved to listen to music, play his ukulele with family and friends. He enjoyed playing pool at our own street - Korner Pocket. He was a great cook, certain dishes will be missed. His grandchildren will surely miss his special banana pancakes.
