Age 90, passed away peacefully at home with her loving husband of nearly 70 years at her side. She was predeceased by parents, Robert Molena and Elizabeth Hiileialoha Kekauoha and 9 siblings.As Wife, she devoted 25 years to husband's military service career and family. As Mom, she raised 5 daughters, but always made room and a place at the table for anyone in need. As Boss, she made sure every generation that followed was loved and cared for same as her own.
Despite the demands of being a Wife.Mom.Boss, she enjoyed a career of her own talents by sharing the "aloha spirit" as Aunty May, "mana wahine", native Hawaiian music entertainer, quilter and ambassador of sorts, anytime and everywhere she lived, traveled or sang.
She is survived by husband, Joseph P. Kamai; daughters: Aloha Kaulu, Pilahi (Tony) Gregg, Joey (Rolly) Velasco, Jade "Ipo" Kamai, and Joel "Nahi" Fields; 16 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren...so far...
