72Nobu, a retired beautician, whose favorite color was red, was often referred to as "the lady in the red shirt" during her daily walks around the community. A generous woman with a big heart and caring soul, she always had a smile on her face. Her cheerful demeanor and contagious laughter will be dearly missed.
Nobu is preceded in death by her husband Wallace "Wally" and is survived by her sons Wayne (Lynne) and Earl (Alison) and four grandchildren: Elise, Sean, Austin, and Michael. She is also survived by sister Fujiko ("Fuzzy") Okita and nieces and nephews.
Private services were held at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.
