Chenoa chose to retire from the television industry to assume the role of loving primary caregiver to her maternal grandmother, Patricia Reyburn, and then to share in the caregiving of her mother-in-law, Janet Call Kelsey. Chenoa was, in fact, a loving, mother figure to her close friends and extended family, leaving her heart prints on them all.
Chenoa is survived by her husband, Cameron Kelsey, her mother, Jean Weston, her father James Crockett, hanai mother, Rebecca Erickson, sister Dara Crockett and brothers Cordell and Kessel Crockett, sister-in-law Iris Crockett, niece Adelaide Crockett, nephews Koa and Kai Crockett, and extended 'ohana.
A vegetarian for her entire adult life, Chenoa was as equally compassionate towards animals as she was for human beings in need. In honor of her life, please consider a donation to the no-kill animal shelter, O'ahu SPCA.
A private memorial is being planned for a future date. Always in our Hearts Dearest Chenoa ~ Rest in Love and Aloha
