Miyeko Yoshida Fujiki was born on May 17, 1925 in Honolulu, and passed away peacefully on June 1, 2022. She had a long and wonderful life. She grew up as one of 8 children to Magojiro and Ishi Yoshida in Liliha. She was married to Akira "Flash" Fujiki (deceased) for 39 years. They raised two children, and traveled throughout the world. She continued to travel with her sisters and friends after the passing of Flash. She worked at Park Engineering (ParEn) as Office Manager, and retired after 42 years. Miyeko enjoyed spending time with family, going to church, traveling, cooking, playing cards, tai chi, reading, and watching sports and Korean soap operas. Miyeko will be remembered as a loving, caring, kind and generous wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Her memory will live on with all of us.
She is survived by her two children Randall Fujiki and Faye (Michael) Dung; 5 grandchildren Colin Fujiki, Miles Fujiki, Naomi Fujiki, Matthew Dung, and Megan Dung; and two great-grand- children Annalee Fujiki and Mari Fujiki.
Private services. Prior to her passing, Miyeko requested no cards, gifts, or flowers.
