81Vic was a charming, witty, and caring man much loved and missed by all, especially his wife of 41 years Lynn Siu Hay-Roe, children Glenn (Christy), Beth Kunitomo, Scott (Jennifer), seven grand- children and two brothers Hugh and Ross.
After earning his medical degree from the University of Alberta in Canada, Vic completed his residency at Queen's and later served as chief of surgery from 2000 to 2006. He did his plastic surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh and practiced at the Honolulu Medical Group 44 years and served 20 years as its chairman.
Vic and Lynn loved to travel including medical missions in underserved communities around the world where he performed cleft lip and palate surgeries. Vic also loved playing tennis, chess and board games. He perfected the art of cross stitching and made many Christmas stockings and ornaments for family and friends.
At his request, no service will be held. Vic will be remembered and celebrated by all who loved him.
