Anita Lau Boyer, aged 84 of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on August 31, 2022. Born on March 15, 1938 in Honolulu, Hawaii, Anita was raised on Oahu and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1956.
During her lifetime Anita lived in Honolulu, Orlando and Las Vegas, where she retired in 1990. In 2021 after her husband "Bob" passed away, Anita moved home to Honolulu where she could spend time with her family and friends, enjoy her favorite local foods and play mahjong with her cousins.
Anita loved to crochet, play piano, play mahjong, play poker, play penny slots, bowl, travel, sing, dance, dine-out, go to shows and watch football. She was a football fanatic and a die hard Steeler's fan. She also adored her 10 yr. old shih tzu mix named "Mochi."
Anita will be remembered for her smile and the joy she brought to those who knew her. Her light will never fade from our hearts.
She is preceded in death by husband, Robert L. Boyer, stepdaughter Melissa Boyer Lindsey, brother Gerald M.H. Lau. Survivors include sister Verna Hayashi (James, deceased), brother Ronald Lau (Becky), daughter Debra Pollock (Paul), daughter Deanne Kimhan (Duke), son Darren Yee, son Dayton Yee, stepson Robert Boyer Jr., stepdaughter Michelle McHenry (Greg), stepdaughter Andrea Hollowell (Charles), granddaughter Kamilla Pollock and granddaughter Kristina Pollock.
