Raoul Swain Ku'uleiaukai Self, 60, went home to be with Jesus on July 30, 2022, while surrounded by family. He served the City & County of Honolulu for 42 1/2 years and concluded his tenure as the Superintendent of Road Maintenance. Survived by his wife, Deidre; daughters Drae Ann (Arin) Cranley and Raelen (Brannan) Bajet; grandsons: Aristen, Trevynn, Brannan, D’Reuel, Bravynn, and Tevyenn; granddaughters: Ariya and Raeanna; brothers: Joseph Self, Jr. (deceased), Louis Self III, and Kenneth Self; sisters: Laverne Wong, Joycelyn Self, Roxanne Fo, Donna Aki, Charlotte Clarke and many nephews, nieces, and loved ones.
Celebration of Life services: 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at the He'eia State Park Banquet Hall.
