Born 12/24/50, in Honolulu & passed away peacefully 7/24/22. Joe was a heralded running back for Damien Memorial H.S. 1969. He lived in New York for 30 yrs. with his wife Gay Kuehnel-Hisatake, and son Klynn, returning to Hawaii in 2019. Joe worked in restaurants & for Charles River Labs, winning many customer service awards. He loved cooking, entertaining, reading, and sports. He is survived by his wife; 5 children; 3 grandchildren and his older brother Gil. Service to be held at Diamond Head Memorial Park 9/16/22 at 12:30 p.m. Arrangements Provided By:
