KRISTINA L. DYER
KRISTINA L. DYERTina was born to Wilson and Carol Worman on April 2, 1946. After graduating from high school, Tina chased her dreams through higher education, beginning at Keuka College in New York and then paused to marry her husband, Peter Dyer. She continued on through studies at Syracuse University New York in Albany. Tina received her Masters Degree in Library Science with a focus in Children's Literature. Together they had one child, Jennifer Leigh Dyer.

Tina loved teaching yoga, gardening, walking, coloring, talking to her friends on the phone and reading children's books. A portion of her ashes were scattered during July 2022, in the St. Lawrence River in the Thousand Islands region of Upstate New York. Her greatest loving memories were spent many summers as a child and an adult at her grandmother's cottage.

She was "The Story Hour Lady" for the Children's program of the Kailua Library for several years where she continued to volunteer in other capacities for many more years after she stepped away from that position. Tina earned her Blue Belt in Aikido in 1989. She was an advocate for the Windward Outdoor Circle and supported the community with determination. Tina's greatest love was spending time with her daughter "Jenny". Tina and Jenny share their love for the water, nature, movies, cooking and cats. Tina may be best known for her sweetness, generosity and kind heart.

Services will be held on Kailua Beach (Access 91 – A,) on Friday, September 16, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Private Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made In Kristina's name to the Children's Section of Kailua Library, Windward Outdoor Circle or Windward Unity Church.
