Jane Reiko (Mihata) Sugano
77, of Aiea, went peacefully into the eternal light on June 8, 2022 surrounded by her family and friends from Sukyo Mahikari dojo. She was loved by her husband Richard; her children Michael (Kelly), Jari (Reid), David (Marissa), Daniel; and her five grandchildren Austen, Megan, Bodhi, MJ and Bennett. She was "Reiko" to her brothers Teru (Gladys), Richard (Taka) (Gail), Akira (Gladys), and Ernest Jr. (Gloria) and "Aunty Jane" to many nieces and nephews. Private services of remembrance will be held by the family. A hukilau at her favorite fishing hole will be coordinated in her honor on her 78th heavenly birthday. Her family will celebrate her life with a private ceremony. She will be serenaded with her favorite mele, Kanaka Wai Wai and surrounded with family, friends, aloha and light.
