78Mom enjoyed traveling with her classmates from Farrington High School class of 1941. Mom especially enjoyed her trips to Las Vegas where she would meet her sisters and family members who live in California.
Mom was a proud member of Aza Gushikawa Doshi Kai. In 2017, she was recognized by the HUOA as member of the year.
Preceded in death by husband Jusei and son Nelson, she is survived by daughters Annette Miyashiro, Sharon (Steven) Yoshiyama, brothers Edward (Chieko), Ronald, Wallace (Hatsuno) Tokuda, sister Elizabeth Nakama, sister-in-law Fujie Tokuda, grandchildren Michelle (Eldred) Kapule, Allison (Shane) Gushikuma, Shannon (Christopher Keanini) Yoshiyama and Shane (Rebecca Lau) Yoshiyama. Great- grandchildren Christopher, Keila, Benjamin, Skyler, Nai'a, Tyler, Ayden and Jake.
