99, of Honolulu, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2022. She was born in Lahaina, Maui. Preceded in death by husband, Ned Masaichi Higa and a grand- daughter, she is survived by two daughters, Harriet K. Morris and Lorraine A. Smith; 1 grandson, 1 great-grandson, 1 great-grand- daughter, and 2 great-great- grandchildren. She was loved for her tenacity and strength and will be missed.
