Kenneth Qun Ching Jr.
Sergeant Major Kenneth Q. Ching Jr., 87 years old of Hau'ula, HI died at his home in Hau'ula on August 28th, 2022. He was born in Damon Track on April 24th, 1935. He attended and graduated from Farrington High School in 1953. He served in the United States Army for 22 and a half years, including a one-year deployment in Vietnam. Following his retirement from the Army, he continued his service as an JROTC Instructor at Roosevelt High School for 20 years. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Jacquelyn M. Ching. He also is survived by two sons Billy and Tirrell, daughter Kenlyn, hanai daughter Mary, 8 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. With a life full of service and commitment to his Country and family, Kenneth has touched the lives of many individuals and leaves behind a legacy that will continue to pave the way for generations to come.
Memorial services will be held on October 6th, 2022 at the Valley of the Temples beginning at 10:30 am.
