Margaret Fonseca Burgess was born Nov. 26, 1921 and passed away July 2, 2022 at the age of 100 years old. She was the 14th daughter of Marcelo Fonseca and Mary Andrade Fonseca and the last to die from a family of 16 children. Margaret married Rodney K. Burgess Jr. a shipfitter at Pearl Harbor during World War II and later a Captain for the Honolulu Fire Dept. and had four sons; Rodney III, Roy, Reynard and Randall, 15 Grand- children and 9 Great-Grand- children. Mom loved her family and made sure that she always stayed in touch with her brothers and sisters. She especially adored her grandchildren and you would be able to find her with her grandkids at Kahala Mall. Memorial will be Oct. 15, 2022 at Kawaihao Church at 10:00 am with Services at 12:30 pm.
