68, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away unexpectedly on September 15, 2022. Michael was born on March 28, 1954, in Honolulu. He attended Iolani and Stanford University. Michael retired in 2018 but remained an active volunteer at Hawaiian Financial Federal Credit Union. He loved to golf, visit Vegas, spend time with his grand nieces and nephews and took pride in his vegetable garden and cooking family recipes. He is the beloved brother of Lowell, uncle of Melanie (Alvin Yim) and Michelle (Bob Yao) and gruncle of Ella and Ethan Yim and Emily, Addison, and Everett Yao.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor at Hawaiian Memorial Park Chapel on Monday, October 10, 2022, Visitation: 4:30 p.m.; Service: 6:00 p.m. Burial: 10:00 a.m. on October 11, 2022, at Hawaiian Memorial Park.
Casual/Aloha attire requested.
