95, of Honolulu, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2022. Born in Honomu, Hawaii, she was a homemaker. A member of Jikoen Hongwanji and Jikoen Women's Buddhist Association. She enjoyed participating in classes at Kokua Kalihi Valley and Kamana Senior Center. Preceded in death by husband Shigeru, brother Wallace Nishihara; sisters Natsue Kaneshiro, Miyoko Taira and Tomiko Masaki. She is survived by her son Derek Isa of Honolulu; daughters, Ellen (Steve) Nakayama of Pearl City, Iris Isa of Honolulu and Gerri Isa of Hilo; brothers Stanley Nishihara of Hilo and Royden (Rose) Nishihara of Honolulu, sisters Shigeko Hirano of Hilo and Ellen (Cliff) Mikasa of Torrance, CA; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
