Of Kailua. Retired educator/admin at The Kamehameha Schools, Junior Achievement Hawaii and Marianas High School, Saipan. Veteran U.S. Navy stationed San Diego. Graduate of San Diego State University. Active member of Auwaiolimu Congregational Church and The Windward YMCA. Devoted and dearly loved Patriarch of his ever growing family, he is survived by: wife, Iwalani Sowa; children, Tom (Vivianne) Sowa, Kehau Yong, JoAnn Sowa, Sarona (Tim) Farrell: 9 Grandchildren & 5 Great-grandchildren: sister, Dolores Waters.Services Fri, Oct 21 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Chapel.
