Charolyn "Sharry" Chu Ro made her unexpected transition at the age of 81 on July 16, 2021. She was born on May 19, 1940 to parents Harry and Elsie Chu.Her life's work was being a devoted and loving mother, sister, Aunt and friend. Her greatest love was her family including 2 dogs Buddy and Sweetie. She has four children, Sharan Ro, Steven (Maki) Ro, Kelvin Ro, Randy (Kay) Ro; 5 Ro grandchildren, Courtney, Sydney, Timothy, Lucas and Kaitlin. She has 3 sisters: Cynthia Chu, Francine (Gregg) Yamate, Gwen (Russel) Nagata. 5 Nieces and Nephews: Nadine, Kerry, Dana, Brent and Bryan; and other cherished family members.
She is affectionately remembered as a kind, loving, positive and thoughtful. Her passions included Woman of the Word, her faith and relationship with God, her YMCA water program and dear friends and community was her spiritual haven.
A small gathering to honor and celebrate her life will be held at Hawaiian Memorial Park on Kam Hwy. at 10 am on October 15 (Saturday), 2022. Casual attire. Thank you for caring and being a special part of her life.
