87, of Pearl City, passed away on September 13, 2022. He was born on November 30, 1934; the fifth child of Edena and Priscilla Chang of Pauoa, O'ahu. He is a proud graduate of Kamehameha Schools, class of 1953 and attended Oregon State University. After serving in the United States Army, Donald joined Pan American and then United and enjoyed a successful career with the airlines. He finally retired for a second time from Manheim Hawaii.
He is survived by his wife Marcia Seastrom, sister Lena Palama, children Douglas (Akiko), Kehau Palama, David (Nadine), Laurie (Ben) Aina, and Robyn (Herman) Kauleinamoku, eleven grand- children, and eight great-grand- children.
A celebration honoring his love and life will be at Borthwick Mortuary, Downtown, on Saturday, November 5 at 12:00 noon, preceded by visitation with family at 11:00 AM. Family requests no flowers and a private scattering of ashes will be at a later date.
