Age 96, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2022 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Born February 6, 1926, Ethel was a 1944 graduate of Mid Pacific Institute and retired Educational Assistant for the Hawaii State Department of Education.Ethel was preceded in death by Robert Shizuo Hinazumi, loving husband for over 70 years and sister Marian (Yanagihara) Chang. Survived by son Jon Hinazumi, daughter Amy Hansen (Bruce), granddaughter Kari Yoo (Ji Hoon), sister Ruth (Yanagihara) Lum, and numerous nieces and nephews.
We thank the staff at Hale Malamalama and Bristol Hospice for all their love and Aloha. A private Celebration of Life was held.
