74Sandra grew up in Wahiawa and graduated from Mid-Pacific Institute in 1963. She attended college on the mainland but returned home and graduated from the University of Hawaii with a degree in Sociology. She retired from Matson Navigation Company after a long career in the Customer Service Department.
Sandra traveled extensively with her parents to Europe, Asia and especially Japan. In later years, she traveled to Las Vegas on a regular basis.
She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles and keeping a journal of her daily life.
