Age 93, passed peacefully surrounded by his family and loved ones on September 11, 2022. Born in Honolulu on November 16, 1928, to Gunichi and Masa Morioka. Growing up he worked as a contract painter, vacuum sales and service and automotive assistant until he was drafted into the Korean War. After serving in the military, he joined National Cash Register where he retired after 35 years. In his retirement he enjoyed playing golf, cards and traveling the world with his wife Marion.
George is survived by his children: Brad, Randy, Sheri and Troy; his grandchildren; siblings Tamae Shirashi and Rose Yamada. Predeceased by wife Marion Villiran, son Kenson, sister Mildred Iwamoto.
Services will be held on November 5, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 45-425 Kamehameha Hwy., Kaneohe.
