Beloved mother, grandmother and friend, Mary passed away peacefully on September 19, 2022 at the age of 81 in Kaunakakai, Molokai surrounded by her family. Born Mary Grace Adams, she is survived by her three children, Deanie Sparks of Mesa, Arizona; Nathan Sparks of Honolulu, Oahu and Helen Kekalia Wescoatt of Kaunakakai, Molokai. Mary was grandmother to five grandchildren, Emily Polis, Elle and Emily Sparks, and Luka Kekalia Emhof and Heron Kekalia Wescoatt. Mary grew up in Manoa on the island of Oahu and was a graduate of Roosevelt High, before moving to her forever home on Molokai where she worked at Molokai General Hospital (Queen's Health Care Systems) for many years before retiring and becoming an avid community volunteer. Celebration or Life to be held at Home Pumehana Community Hall in Kaunakakai, Molokai on October 29 at 10am.
