87, of Aiea, passed away at home on October 5, 2022. A loving husband, father, grandpa, uncle and friend, he is dearly loved and missed.Bobby was born in Hilo, Hawaii, to George and Chie Iwashita, then moved to Honolulu where he married his college sweetheart Charlotte and raised 5 daughters. All who know him lovingly remember his bright smile, generous heart, cheerful, and easygoing ways. He was a kind supporter, a dedicated and patient educator and enjoyed golfing with friends.
Robert is predeceased by his wife Charlotte. He is survived by daughters: Lynn Tomokiyo, Liane (Thomas) Muromoto, Rochelle (Frank) Iwashita, Wendy (Ray) Perez, Lois (Kevin) Brown; 6 grandchildren: Chase, Aja Tomi, Skyler, Tiani, and Ronan; brother Gilbert Iwashita; and many nieces and nephews.
