74Janice graduated from Archbishop Walsh High School, Irvington, NJ. She attended St. Peter's College, Jersey City, NJ. where she majored in accounting. It was at St. Peter's that she met her future husband, Kevin M. Murray. Janice and Kevin loved to vacation in Hawaii and eventually made it their home. He pre-deceased her in 2005.
For many years, Janice was employed by Dun & Bradstreet as an accountant in their NY offices. While employed at D&B, she went on various assignments in Mexico and Europe, which fueled her love of adventure and fine dining. At the time of her death, she was employed by CReW Resources Worldwide and Hawaii Aviation. Janice was dedicated to her work and made many lasting friendships throughout her career.
Fiercely independent throughout her life, Janice lived life on her own terms. She was an avid and vocal supporter of liberal causes and animal welfare initiatives. She leaves behind her cousins Richard Brower, Carol Butler, Maryann Wasik (Richard Storch), Barbara Wasik (James Byrnes), Christine Wasik (Howard Kibrick), Julia Byrnes, Thomas Byrnes and Olivia Kibrick. She is also survived by her husband Kevin's siblings Jack Murray, Arlene Barron (Dennis) and Jayne Dimick (Walter) along her many nieces and nephews who gave her great joy.
