75A graduate of Farrington High School, who was then employed and retired by the City and County of Honolulu.
She will forever be remembered for her kind, most generous and thoughtful heart by always sharing and helping others.
A gentle and precious soul who always placed others before herself.
Mom is now flying free in God's beautiful world and in her new home of blissful eternity.
Her role as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, carried the most value to her heart. This is where she drew her strength and left her legacy for time with family and friends was what she truly cherished the most.
Betty is survived by her husband of 64 years, Richard; sons Richard (Lisa) Goto, Jr., Jon (Vicki) Goto, daughters Jan (Ken) Ishimine and Colleen Goto; grandchildren Amber Goto, Bryson and Braden Goto, nieces, nephews, grandniece, grandnephews and granddogs.
She is pre-deceased by older sister, Alyce Tamura, and younger sister, Margaret Yoshinobu.
Due to COVID restrictions, a private service was held.
