Curtis Heaton was born in Kimball, Minnesota in 1937. He graduated at the University of Minnesota then earned a doctorate degree at the University of San Francisco. A two year stint in the army landed him at Fort Bliss and White Sands Missile Range. Later, he was an executive at Eco Labs in St. Paul, Minnesota. Curtis loved teaching. He taught in Minnesota and Kailua, Hawaii in 1970. He was then recruited to teach at Kitakyushu University in Japan. After 20 years there, Curtis returned to Hawaii to retire in 2005. Predeceased by his wife Katsuto, he is survived by his brother Wayne and nephews and nieces. No services. Arrangements Provided By:
