Beloved husband, brother, uncle and friend went home to be with the Lord on March 8, 2022. He was born June 4 in Honolulu to Happy and Elsie Chun. He graduated from McKInley High School, the University of Hawaii Manoa with Bachelor degrees in Communication and Psychology and Devry Institute of Technology. Darrell was passionate in his love for Jesus, the ocean, music, ukulele playing and a big fan of the UH Warriors and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is survived by his wife Sharon; brothers Michael and Corey (Jenny) Chun; sister Cheri (Eric) Higashihara: in-laws Ronald and Frances Lau and nieces and nephews.CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2022, VISITATION 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. AT FIRST CHINESE CHURCH OF CHRIST, 1054 S. KING ST., FOLLOWED BY A BRIEF SERVICE. MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING REQUESTED.
