93, of Honolulu, passed away on August 18, 2022. Born in Honolulu, he graduated from Kaimuki High School and the University of Hawaii, and was a retired civil and structural engineer for Engineers Surveyors Hawaii. He is survived by his wife, Aileen (Matsumoto) Tanaka; daughter, Jill; sisters, Hisaye Tanaka, May Fujioka, Amy Miyamura, and several nieces and nephews. Private services held.
