Jojo or Jo as many friends called her, passed away on Oct. 2, 2022. She was 66, a few months shy of her Christmas birthday. Jo loved holidays; enjoyed socializing, and singing silly songs. Joanne retired from ABC stores. Hawaii Kai Retirement Community is where Joanne lived and delighted in having many more friends. She enjoyed being recognized with her walker adorned with Christmas bells, small flags and flower leis, greeting all with a smile and a wave.
Jo was born in Honolulu, graduated from Kaimuki High School. She is survived by mother, Violet T. Terada, siblings: Gayle, Kent (Beverly), Sandra Manago (Neil). Nieces: Nikki Nakamura (Brent), Channon Agor, Kellie Allaord, Gerilyn and Erin Manago. Nephews: Laurent Drui, Nicholas and Dominic Carlos, Matthew Manago.
