82, of Honolulu, passed away September 3, 2022. He was born in S. Hilo, Hawaii. Preceded in death by parents, Tomoo & Masako Kunishima and brother, Iwao.He graduated from Hilo High School in 1957 and the University of Hawaii, Manoa in 1965. Norman loved to dance. One of his greatest joy was as an instructor for seniors at various locations, mostly with the C&C of Honolulu Parks and Recreation for over 20 years until the pandemic.
Norman leaves behind his loving wife, Elizabeth; daughter Donna (Patrick) Valenzuela and grand- children Peter and Jordyn Valenzuela of Avondale, AZ; brothers Roy (Sanae) and Ronald (Lei); sister Janet Gerardi of Mt. Vernon, WA. Private services held.
