75, of Papakolea, passed away on July 3, 2022. Although Stephen held numerous job titles during his life, including time as a prison guard at Halawa Correctional Facility, rising to the rank of Sergeant. But Stephen was an entertainer at heart. In his early years he played music aboard the "Ale Ale Kai V" and "Aikane Catamarans." Later in his life he continued to spread his musical aloha, sharing his talents with the patients at Queen's Hospital and serenading his many friends and acquaintances.He is survived by his children: Keale (Meagan), Alisa-Celine (Mary) and Lydia (Russell); his 3 grandchildren: Hazel, Aden and Anaiya; his former wife, Alisa, and his brother Thomas.
Services will be on Friday, November 4, 2022, at Mililani Mortuary, Mauka Chapel. Visitation: 10:00 a.m.; Service: 11:00 a.m. with fellowship to follow in the dining hall. Private scattering of ashes will be at a later date.The family requests no funeral wreaths, however tropical arrangements and lei are welcome.
