83, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away peacefully at home on September 24, 2022. Lynne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Lynne was born in Honolulu and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1956 and the University of Hawaii in 1960. She spent over 30 years as a teacher, primarily at Koko Head and Kamiloiki Elementary Schools, and was an active member of Hawaii Alpha Delta Kappa - Theta Chapter. Lynne enjoyed traveling especially to Las Vegas with family and friends. She loved playing the piano but was most proud to be "Popo" to her five grandchildren. Lynne is survived by her husband James, daughters Julie Haraga, Susan Meade, Robyn (Alan) Alfonso, son Ryan (Kara), sister Sylvian Lee, grandchildren Devin, Dylan, Kylie, Andruw, Maddux, and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Lynne's Life will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Diamond Head Mortuary. Visitation at 10:30 am; Service at 11:00 am; Lunch to follow. Scattering of ashes will be private.
