Sophie Tokuda, 66, of Kailua, Oahu passed away on October 6, 2022. Sophie was a graduate of Mid-Pacific Institute and Kapiolani Community College. She was a supervisor and 35-year employee of Hawaii Gas.We thank the doctors who attended to Sophie and the many nurses and team members at Adventist Health Castle, Kuakini Medical Center, and Navian Hawaii for the care and support she received from you during her illness with cancer.
The prayers, humor and thoughtful- ness shared by family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers were a kindness deeply felt by Sophie and she wished to express her gratitude for your generous and constant presence. Me ke aloha pumehana.
Sophie is survived by husband Alvin Tokuda, their Labrador Retriever Milo, mother Harriet Tojo, brother Dennis Tojo (Deborah Ichiriu), and sister Lisa Tojo. A private memorial observance will be held by the family.
