78, of Mililani, Hawaii, passed away on September 4, 2022. He graduated from Leilehua High School, joined the Air Force, retired from the Honolulu Police Department in 1988 and also retired from The City and County Drivers License Division at Pearl City in 2006.He is preceded in death by his parents Leonicio and Julia Rivera and brother Leroy (Edith). He is survived by his wife of 20 years Lily Liu-Rivera; sons, Darrin (Tina) Rivera and Jason Liu; grandaughter Rachel; great grandaughter Kaichelle and hanai daughter Kimberlee Nihei; brothers: Gilbert (Lucille), Steven and Jerry (Edna), Aunt Jean Sampio and cousins.
Services will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Mililani Memorial Park (Ka Uka Blvd), Makai Chapel. Visitation: 5:30 p.m.; Services: 6:30 p.m. No flowers please, and for everyone's safety, a mask will be required.
Private Interment at Punchbowl.
