FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

GLENN TOM LEE
GLENN TOM LEEAfter surviving throat cancer 5 years ago, Glenn Tom Lee battled Myelodysplastic Syndrome for eight months; a disease that affects the bone marrow's production of new blood cells. Never complaining, always positive, he passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on October 12, 2022, at Queen's Medical Center, surrounded by loved ones and family.
Glenn was the eldest of four children born to Tom and Patsy Lee (brother Kenneth and sisters Linda and Sandra (Low) on May 25, 1943. He grew up in Palama before moving to Alewa Heights. He attended 'Iolani School and graduated in 1961. Continuing on to the University of Hawaii, he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Travel Industry Management.
In 1992, he met Yong Im Pak and they later married and began a wonderful life partnership that continued through his passing. With Yong's help, Island Fresh Fruit, the company he founded in 1989, grew into the supplier of fresh fruit for major retailers such as Costco, Sam's Club and ABC Stores. The company was sold in 2007 and Glenn enjoyed traveling, golf, friends and his membership at Honolulu Country Club.
Glenn was a gentle, loving man with a heart as large as his stature and will be sorely missed. Glenn's Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022, at Hawaiian Memorial Park, 45-425 Kamehameha Hwy, Kaneohe, Oahu. Visitation at 9:00 am, Service at 10:00 am followed by lunch and a private burial. Masks are requested.

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased
