SUEKO “SUE” ISHIGURO NAKATSUKA
96, of Honolulu, former resident of Koloa, Kauai, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2022. Sue was pre-deceased by her husband of over 60 years, Hisashi "Hisa" Nakatsuka who passed away on Kauai in 2013. Sue moved to a care facility in Honolulu from Kauai in 2018. She is survived by her sisters, Hinako Oda and Yoshie Tanabe. Also surviving are her sons, Dr. Craig (Claire Loo) Nakatsuka and Ellsworth (Claire) Nakatsuka, 6 grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Sue is a donor with the John A. Burns School of Medicine Willed Body Program. A memorial service will be held with the program in 2023. The family requests no koden (monetary gifts) and that flowers be omitted.
