FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Jo-Ann “Jojo” M.K. Nakamura
Jo-Ann Jo-Ann (Jojo) M.K. Nakamura of Honolulu, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2022. She was born in Honolulu, HI on March 11, 1954. She was a widow who is survived by two Sons, Bryce & Brenton Nakamura; caring and faithful Step-Father Donald Bartley, loving brothers, Randy, John and Robert Agno; four Nieces & five Nephews and a multitude of relatives. Jo-Ann graduated from Kaimuki High School, class of 1972.

Jo-Ann was so friendly, comical and thoughtful with friends, family and every new acquaintance she made. She created life-long friendships with those she met, and worked with, whether it was with the State of Hawaii at the University of Hawaii or one of the many Waikiki Hotels that she was employed at or at many of her other jobs.

Jo-Ann was interested in Korean Drama, traveling to Japan and Vegas and many other interesting crafts she dabbled in.

But it wasn't all of the above mentioned or the accomplishments that everyone remembers. It was the person that Jo-Ann was that made the most impact on everyone as she was very thoughtful, loving and caring. She was a very giving person and has the purest intentions. She never held back and always spoke her mind but it never took away the love she had for everyone.
