Alice Aiko Iwamoto, 93, of Kailua, Oahu, died in Kaneohe on August 24, 2022. Born on February 1, 1929 to Tsunematsu and Yasu Kawauchi, the youngest of six children. She was a 1947 graduate of Roosevelt High School. She and her sisters worked at their family-owned business known as Coconut Grove Cleaners, first, and then, Charlie's Sportswear in Kailua. She and her late husband, George, had four children; Lisa (Eric) Echevary; Tracy (Carlos-deceased) Iwamoto-Diaz; Kent (deceased) Colleen Iwamoto; Kelly (Kaleo) Pereza. She has nine grand- children and seven great-grand- children. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, feather lei-making, singing, drawing, and gardening.
