Anna was the eldest child of Peter and Nana Wall who emigrated from County Claire to settle in Medford Massachusetts. She matriculated to Boston College where she excelled both academically and socially. She was crowned Homecoming Queen her Senior Year, her presence, beauty, smarts and poise deemed emblematic of BC's renown.
Her academic aspirations did not end there as Anna's intent was to to benefit countless students. The many classrooms she presided over would span schoolrooms from Japan to Hawaii and she later secured a degree in Social Work and began that work of service while raising her teenage kids.
Those who knew and loved her enjoyed her unique attentions which brought her wide-ranging talents and perceptive faculties to bear. Her family especially enjoyed her attentions as she tirelessly contributed to the upbringing of her three children as well as caring for her mother-in-law and brother-in-law in her home toward the end of their lives.
She was an active member of Star In The Sea Church and her continuous committment to the work of the Church led her to be honored a Lady of the Equestrian Order of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in her later years--an appointment established by the Vatican.
She is survived by her husband Francis, her two brothers Joe and Peter, her children Jon, Jeff and Erin and her grandchildren Katy Aya Tony Manu and Kaleo.
May her life's work inspire devotion to family and enduring acts
of charity everywhere.
