98, passed away peacefully at home on October 14, 2022. Devoted wife to WWII veteran Robert K. (deceased), mother of two sons Gerald (Karen) and Duane (Martha), six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was supported by a loving family.Born to watercress farmers Kenroku and Masu Masutani, Jean was raised in the Waiau area, and lived in Waipahu, Aiea, and Manoa. A graduate of Waipahu High School and Style Center, Jean worked as a home seamstress, worked at Hamada Okazuya, Irene's Dress Shop, and JCPenny in Pearlridge.
Jean had a full life and enjoyed traveling around the world with family and friends.
Private services were held at Nu'uanu Memorial Park & Mortuary on Saturday, November 5, 2022.
