85, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on November 9, 2022. Born in Hakalau, Shorty lived his life to the fullest, serving in the Air Force, working at HawaiianTel, and then retiring at the ripe old age of 50. In his retirement, he enjoyed traveling, seeking new skiing adventures, cooking and entertaining his friends and family, fixing things and spending hours in his garden. He is survived by his wife, Odetta; daughter Nalani (James) Kaina; sons Keala (Tomoko) Fujimori, and Kalani (Marcia) Fujimori, and four grandchildren: Kian, Kapua, Malie and Alina.
A Celebration of his Life will be held on November 30, 2022, on the Bishop Museum lawn. Visitation will start at 5:00 p.m.
No flowers.
