82, born in Honolulu, HI, a retired Waipahu High School teacher, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on November 5th, 2022. Carol was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and could have a conversation with anyone. In her free time, she watched soap operas, Chinese movies, and enjoyed reading. She loved to travel and collect art. Survived by her husband of 46 years, Jerry Klappert, two children, Amery Klappert and Marika Henrickson, six grand- children, and sister, Barbara Tanaka. Services: 1130-2 p.m. Friday December 2, 2022 at Diamond Head Mortuary. Burial to follow at Diamond Head Memorial Park. Casual attire. Arrangements Provided By:
