Born in 1947, to Robert and Karen White, Pip grew up on Oahu and always had Hawaii in his heart. He graduated from Punahou School in 1966 and Colgate University in 1970. As a young man, he lived a life of adventure sailing the South Pacific. He was the founder of WhiteSpace Architects and was the recipient of numerous design awards. He was a loving husband and father. His three sons were his pride and joy.
Pip is survived by: his wife, Frances Brown; sons, Kenneth, Philip (Erin) and Francis "Nick" White; siblings Robert "Terry" White (Elizabeth), Michael White (Whitney), Mele Pochereva (Thomas); and grandson, Philip Reynolds White.
A celebration of life will be held on December 3, at the Punahou School Thurston Chapel. Visitation will be from 2:00pm to 3:00pm. Services will be from 3:00pm to 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Searider Productions Foundation, Hale Kipa Foundation, or Punahou Academy Learning Commons.
