MARGARET MARY KALEIMOMI KULA STAFFORD
MARGARET MARY KALEIMOMI KULA STAFFORDMargaret Mary Kaleimomi Kula Staffford, aka Iris, passed away peacefully at her home on November 5, 2022, just 12 days shy of her 88th birthday. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis W. Stafford of Lavaca, AK, her parents, James and Elizabeth Kula, and several brothers.

Margaret was a graduate of Sacred Hearts Academy, Class of 1952; a life Member of the Ahahui Kaahumanu, Chapter 1 of Honolulu and served as its Pelekikena for many years. She was also a member of the Alter and Rosary Society of St. Augustine Church and former president. She was a very active member of the church.

A former member of the Honolulu Toast Mistress Society, a member of the Special Forces Association, MSgt. Earl Kalani, Chapter VIII, whom she knew very well. She worked several years for the 14th Special Forces, the Army Corps of Engineers, and was sent to Saudi Arabia. She was a worldwide traveler.

She is survived by her brother Roland L. Kula, sisters Elizabeth K. Muller and Ann G. Morano, a stepson Patrick Stafford (Linda) and grandson Derek (Erin) and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at St. Augustine Church By The Sea, Waikiki at 9:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Diamond Head Memorial Park.
