Erme (Kauahi) Giurato, has passed from this realm into The Kingdom of Our Lord. Her ashes from Chicago will be returning home to Hawai'i. Ermelinda is the eldest child of Joseph & Victoria Kauahi. Erme is a Kailua High School Alum, Class of 1961. In June 2003 she retired from United Airlines. Erme is survived by her husband Daniel Giurato; her son Craig J Markiewicz; siblings Loretta Hussey, Bobby & Norman Kauahi; nieces Christine Kamaka, Cassey Hussey-Abril & Amy Kauahi; nephews Scotty Kauahi & Justin Hussey; Aunts Emily Kahai & Mildred Loo; Uncle Abraham Kauahi and countless cousins.
Her service & Celebration of Life will be held on O'ahu.
