Glenn Ayres Shea
Glenn Ayres SheaGlenn Ayres Shea was born in Honolulu and raised in Papakolea. The youngest of 7 children, he was adored by his family. He graduated from Roosevelt High School, lived in LA for a short period and attended college at Kapiolani Community College. He became an accomplished roller skater/hockey player in his teens, earned a brown belt at Kenpo Karate in his 20s, and loved traveling, golfing, snowboarding and surfing most of his life. Glenn loved rock 'n roll and was known to hit the drums in the wee hours. Glenn worked in the restaurant business, then with AT&T, and finally with Prickett Films and Salt + Air Studios for over a decade.

Glenn's warm heart, positive attitude and sense of humor brought people together and won him friends wherever he went. Glenn passed while working with people he loved, on one of his favorite North Shore beaches, on a beautiful day.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Llewellyn and Frances Shea. He is survived by his wife of 28 years Holly Ozaki Shea, his brother Wesley, sisters Llewella K. Rogers, Crescentia F.P. Maxwell, Andrea Ann K. Akana, and his many nephews, nieces, cousins, aunties, uncles, in-laws, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at O'ahu Mortuary, 2162 Nu'uanu Avenue, Honolulu, on December 7, 2022. Visitation 8:30 am, Service 9:30 am. Aloha attire. An ash scattering/paddle-out service will follow at 11:00 am at Kewalo basin, 1125 Ala Moana Blvd, Honolulu, Hi. 96814.
